Notes: With its innovative lightweight compact design, the Gibson Johnny A Signature is crafted with all solid woods, including an intensely quilted carved maple top, chambered mahogany body, and solid ebony fingerboard. The premium version of the model, the JA Signature was built from 2003 to 2014, and is similar in size to the Gibson CS-336. With a 22 fret neck which joins the body at the 19th fret, the double cutaway JA offers complete access to the uppermost fingerboard, with a gentle D profile neck and a long 25 1/2" L-5 / Strat scale, for maximum snap and dynamics.

This striking example features a particularly extravagant AAAA quilted maple top, with all original hardware and finish. In virtually unplayed condition, the guitar is without pick, buckle, thumb or fingerboard wear, and has smooth low action over a fresh high precision setup. Original factory paperwork and accessories are included in its original Gibson black alligator plush hardshell case as well.

A highly versatile instrument for the working performer or weekend warrior, The Johnny A Signature remains a hard-to find model on the vintage market. And we've never seen a more spectacular example. One only: call now.

Setup: Trussrod tension and neck relief adjusted; bridge height adjusted; bridge compensation set; bridge wheels and tuners lubricated; fingerboard and bridge oiled; body and neck cleaned and hand polished. This instrument is strung with light gauge nickel roundwound strings. The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 4/64" to 5/64" at the 12th fret, with light relief. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.
